I hope to be able to unite with people who share similar beliefs to mine to be able to expand my political mind through smart discussion, greater knowledge of other schools of thought, and being able to have a greater effect on the world than I would on my own.
3) How did you hear about the LSA?
I heard about it through several accounts on Instagram.
4) Do you support equal freedom for all?
Socialism without equal freedom for all is an oxymoron. Without equal equality socialism is savagery. Freedom should only be unequal under certain circumstances, mainly pertaining to fascists and those who actively fight against the revolution should they not choose to accept fully integrating into the new society.
5) What are your views on revolution?
As it is Israel's fault for Palestine's revolutionary actions, the bourgeoisie is not only responsible for their exploitation of the proletariat but it is also responsible for the revolutionary reactions by those who have been exploited. A full revolution requires not just a shift in the state but a shift in the minds of the people as well. Revolution does not mean fighting using only guns, but also fighting using education.
6) What are your views on violence?
I oppose unjust violence, but where it is necessary, it is necessary.
7) Do you know of the CNT-FAI, the Ukrainian Free Territory, and the EZLN, and if so give a brief description of each.
The CNT-FAI was an organization of several anarcho-syndicalist groups in Spain/Portugal that united together to act under the interests of workers.
The Ukrainian Free Territory was an attempt at anarchy during the Ukrainian Revolution, but was destroyed by the Bolsheviks in 1921.
The EZLN is an army based out of Southern Mexico created in response to the oppression of the Mayan people.
8) Who is your favorite writer/philosopher/theorist?
Marx, Nietzsche, and Chomsky are the first to pop into my head
9) Why do you dislike government/strict authority?
Human beings are born with inherent rights, one of which being freedom. Humans are a naturally free people, and authoritarian regimes have no place in restricting a person's freedom, especially because of how easily corrupted authoritarian government is and its one size fits all type of governing. Humans are also a naturally different people. There are no two people with exactly the same political views, and to expect a mass of people to strictly follow only an authoritarian regimes rules and beliefs is idiotic. Ultimately, I am better at regulating myself than any other person will be, especially not a corrupt totalitarian government.
10) What ideology do you mainly follow?
I'm still trying to find exactly where it is I fall, but as of now I just label myself under libertarian Marxism.

15 but pretty much 16, I'm a little over a month away.

The Portland, Oregon area.

A life in which I do not strive to work with my comrades to create a new world order in the interest of the proletariat is not a life which I wish to live.

I feel that I possess skills in writing/literature and I'm okay at art. The greatest thing I can offer is my devotion and commitment to the defeat of fascism and capitalism across the world.

The CNT-FAI was a syndicalist organization that created a humane utopia in Catalonia. This utopia allowing us to further solidify that anarchism not only works in theory but in practice as well. This account of the revolutionary experience is best documented in George Orwells Homage to Catalonia. The Ukrainian Free Territory was practically the economic opposite of the primarily industrial Catalonia. It was mainly agrarian with its posterchild being Nestor Makhno, who true to the teachings of Bakunin and Kropotkin help create a just and fair society before being crushed by the Bolsheviks. The EZLN is similar to the Insurrectionary Army of Ukraine however it's more modernized in terms of decolonization and more adamant with regards to womens liberation. Yes, everyone is equal no matter their beliefs, race, gender, etc.

A revolution must be violent. We have to be violent in a revolution so we can overthrow the bourgeoisie and their capitalist government.

I'm not a fan of violence but it is needed in a revolution to overthrow the bourgeoisie.

The CNT-FAI was an Anarchist revolutionary faction during the Spanish Civil war. One of their leaders was Durruti.
The Ukrainian Free Territory was an anarchist uprising in Ukraine during the Russian Civil War. It was led by Nestor Makhno plus he was also the leader of the Black Army.
The EZLN or the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (Ejercito Zapatista de Liberación Nacional) is a NeoZapatista militant group located in Chiapas, Mexico. They made the Zapatista Uprising in 1994 and wages war against the Mexican government for 2 years. Their leader is Subcomandante Marcos.

Honestly, I don't know. Hopefully, a greater education on theory, but I don't expect much else except like minded people.

I feel like this question is redundant since I'm applying for a libsoc group, but yes I am an egalitarian.

But seriously, I don't think the world is ready for a mass uprising of the proletariat.

I'm a revolutionary.

Honestly, I'm not well read on the CNT-FAI. To my knowledge they are an anarchist union in spain, originally did try a separationist movement with moderate success.
UFT, badass kropotkinists, tankies did them in. once again not super well read.
EZLN, autonomous collective fighting for the indigenous people in south Mexico, don't subscribe to one political theory or at least openly talk about it, been in a ceasefire for a while now. Subcommandante Marcos will never die.

Goldman, Kropotkin, and Marx(in that order)
9) Why do you dislike government/strict authority?
Besides the fact that it is fundamentally impossible for true equality exist under statism? It would be when a friend of mine died because she was scared to call an ambulance when she o.d.'d.

Of course - no one is more or less of a human and as a libertarian socialist I strive for equal freedoms for all people, regardless of race, sexual orientation, etc.

If the intent of the revolution is for the greater good, as well as having widespread support, it may be justified.

Generally pacifist, however I acknowledge that there are situations in that violence may be for the greater good.

CNT-FAI was a group that fought in Revolutionary Catalonia
UFT was basically an attempt to create an Anarchist utopia during the Ukrainian Revolution.
EZLN is a Mexican ancom paramilitary group.
