The most dangerous thing in this world is a fool with a cause. Especially if that fool is rich.

Personally, I believe everyone has a right to their own beliefs as long as they are not causing harm to others. I am an atheist but firmly believe that you should share and be proud of whatever beliefs you hold, BUT keep it out of politics. A lot of politicians today like to pander to the god fearing Christians of this country on topics like gay marriage and abortion and terrorism, and in A lot of middle eastern countries, they still have a theocracy and everything is governed by religion. I wanted to know your guys thoughts about religion in politics and religion in general

I'm boycotting this for the lack of a Gnostic Deistic Luciferian option.

Also I agree, separation of church and state is a must for a free society.

Religion is generally a negative force when widely spread and organized. But like all things, it is up to every individual to decide if they want it.

I don't see anything wrong with religion. I don't think it would be smart for a socialist movement to start opposing religion, at least not in America. America's hatred for socialism is only outweighed by how much we fetishize religion. Convincing people of socialism is already hard, no need to add another level of difficulty there when it doesn't really matter that much. If, later on, we wanted to take a more Marxian approach whatever, but I think for the most part we should leave it alone, so long as that people aren't using it to take rights from others
