So for my VCE drama class we saw a brilliant independent play called "Tales of a City By The Sea". The play is about a love story that takes place in Palestine during the assault of Gaza in 2008/09, the cast of the play was also made up almost entirely of Palestinians. We had a 30 minute Q&A after the performance and one of the actresses actually had leave because she broke down in tears because of the recent anniversary of Israeli occupation. Unfortunately the Zionists and the Liberal Party are now trying to get the play taken off of the VCE drama study list as it "Paints Israel as a blood-thirsty war machine." which admittedly it does, but rightly so. I've actually heard of the play but never seem it. Going to add it to the list now.
