As I've only just recently declared that I'm pro-gun I've still got a fair few questions. The one I'll ask today is how we would deal with/prevent mass shootings in an anarchist society or even now. In light of these mass shootings I'm honestly finding it really hard to defend guns like this, I've heard all of the rightist pro-gun arguments and I'd like to know who leftist pro-gun arguments differ (so I guess I'm really asking two questions).

This is an extremely complicated issue, and one I'm sure no one can agree on. I think that there's not a single thing any of us can do about it. The federal government can throw around gun control legislation all they want until the sun explodes, but none of it will actually change anything. There will still be shootings, people with still manage to get guns, it just won't stop. And that's the sad part. That no matter what anyone does, nothing could possibly change at this point unless there is a sudden, massive social shift in a specific direction, which likely won't happen either.
