Apparently Instagram hates free speech because they deactivated my Instagram account for posting material that goes against their community guidelines. Anarchism is too much for them. Anyone else had this happen?

Normally I deactivate my account for a while after I post sensitive stuff, so I can't get reported

I posted a photo of protesters holding a sign that said "we're fucking angry" and my account got deleted like 10-15 minutes later. A lot of people use vulgarity on Instagram and don't get deleted ...

I was under a hashtag and maybe I was liking pictures too rapidly and they thought I was a robot. I applied for an appeal yesterday. Haven't heard back

Instagram and all the other social media networks suck ass. Instagram still hasn't done shit about the people posting CP, but goes after people like us. Fuck, Instagram should start deleting SJW pages then.

Fuck, Instagram should start deleting SJW pages then. Like most large websites, Instagram's filters are automated. It's entirely possible for it to be a bug. |

Yeah, I wouldn't necessarily put it in the category of a free speech issue. IG should be allowed to implement whatever automated guideline enforcement that they want to. That being said, I still think the system is shit and the guidelines are also horrible and are also not consistently enforced, which highlights their incompetence with the system. I usually get images taken down that are criticizing American patriotism. It is rather annoying because there really is no guideline against it. |
