I have noticed during my time in the LSA that "somethingimprumptu" has been very actve on the forums promoting lefist unity and writing out long, wholehearted threads. I think that he should be commended for his actions and given some sort of official LSA position.

You don't really need permission. If you want to contribute some to the prestige of the LSA with some sort of project then go ahead. Although there would likely be a vote before we post any essays to the site. As in a vote on each essay. But besides that don't let anything stop you from trying to contribute, folks.
